Dr. Angela Fingler, R.Ac & TCMD

Dr. Angela Fingler has been treating men and women for fertility concerns and disorders for 17 years. With almost 2 decades of experience and on-going training with some of the world’s foremost Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) experts, Angela has developed a specialization in the field of gynecology, fertility, and reproductive medicine. She often works in tandem with western assisted reproductive technologies to optimize fertilization success, maintain healthy pregnancies, prevent miscarriages, alleviate morning sickness, and achieve post-partum health and balance. Her work with fertility and IVF (in vitro fertilization) patients has been particularly successful.

“Part of practicing this type of medicine means never stopping learning. So over the past few years I have also intensively studied Japanese style acupuncture, ophthalmology, pain conditions, neurology, digestive disorder and much more. I love the learning process and find that  the more styles and disciplines you study, the more interconnected everything is. For example, the study of digestion can have an impact on gynaecology outcomes just as treating immunology problems can help with failing eyesight.  In my experience, the learning never ends.”

Angela works with her patients using a variety of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) techniques including acupuncture, herbal remedies, lifestyle and dietary adjustments, to achieve optimal health. Combining her knowledge from a wide range of fields, Angela creates a treatment plan tailored to each individual. Utilizing both traditional and innovative techniques, she treats a wide range of clients and health issues, from those with chronic illnesses, digestive disorders, and migraines, to those with muscular-skeletal problems.

Angela Fingler is a registered Acupuncturist in Alberta and British Columbia. She studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Victoria, BC, at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
